May 23rd - A little sick today

The plan this morning was to swim 2000 yards.  That didn't happen.  I've been fighting a cold and sore throat for a couple of days and when I woke up this morning I felt a little "off" and rundown.  I thought it would be a better idea to get another hour or so of sleep than try to struggle through a workout.  Even though I am pretty used to getting up around 4:20 or 4:30 to swim, getting up at 4 is taking its toll. 

I felt a lot better during the day so I decided to do a leg workout during my planning.  I had some extra time so I did some pull ups as well.  At least that would make my workout a little shorter when I got home.  My knee is feeling really good today.  The results of the ART work are still evident and I am hoping this continues. 

Today was the last official day of grade repair, after a week of continued extensions.  Once I got home I finished up my upper body workout with some push ups and did a core workout.  Tomorrow is my rest day and I plan to take advantage of it.  I have a brick workout planned for Saturday.  It's been a long time since I've done one.

Calf raises 3x15

Upper Body
Pull-ups 4x18
Push-ups 4x25

Core 14x25
