May 8th - Slacking

So I did slack a little bit today.  It's teacher appreciation week and our resource officer grilled burgers and fried up some fish for all the teachers today.  Of course I had "Kirky Burger" and a piece of fish. And some fries.  And some cake.  I had planned to do a core workout during my planning but the weather was nice and I ended up sitting outside and just hanging out with some of the other teachers. 

I did walk this morning.  I increased my time to 70 minutes and covered 5 miles with Hank.  The massage work that Dr. Karyn did on my knee on Monday worked wonders.  All the soreness from the weekend is gone. 

I had a good PT session today and she gave me a new squat exercise to do.  Thankfully I don't have to add it to my everyday routine.  I can do this one when I do my leg strength workouts.  After PT today I did a modified upper body and core workout.

Push ups: 3x25
Pull ups: 3x18
Core: 12x25

Tomorrow I am going to mix it up a little because of the camping trip this weekend and I will be riding on the trainer (ugh) in the morning instead of swimming.
